The Green-Labor Government’s cuts are having a real and devastating effect on the number of teachers and teacher’s assistants in Tasmania’s education system. Figures obtained under Right to Information by the Liberals clearly show that there are 127 less teachers and 113 less teacher’s assistants in the 12 months since February 2011.

McKim must explain what he is planning to legislate in relation to schools closures
Nick McKim has indicated he is going to attempt to change the Education Act to enshrine the Government’s school closure process in legislation.
