The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to exploring innovative ways to support business growth and the economy.
I am excited to announce that BSchool, after consultation with the Office of the Coordinator-General, will be expanding the national event Idea Nation and bringing it to Tasmania as Idea Island, to be held in Launceston in 2017.
This is a fantastic event for Tasmania that will showcase the State’s entrepreneurial business potential.
BSchool is a specialist business school whose vision is to kickstart the creative economy, and it supports emerging entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses by connecting them to BSchool’s mentors – Australia’s top entrepreneurs and leaders.
Idea Island will be a national search to find Australia’s next big idea, and being held in Launceston will allow opportunities for emerging start-ups and small businesses to develop and grow here.
