The Tasmanian Government is delivering increased assistance for our exporters to expand into markets across the world, supporting more local jobs and investment.

One of the key priorities identified in our Government’s new Trade Strategy was to build the export capability of local businesses, and the appointment of a new TradeStart adviser in northern Tasmania will help do this.

In partnership with AusTrade and the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bede Clifton has been appointed as the northern-based TradeStart adviser.  He will work closely with Sally Chandler, who has been providing valuable trade advice across the State for more than 15 years.

The Tasmanian Government is firmly committed to empowering businesses to take their products to the world and the TradeStart advisers will assist local enterprises to develop their export skills and increase trade, generating more jobs and investment across the state.
