THANK YOU to everyone who has helped and supported me through my 6th Tasmanian election campaign.
Being an elected member of Parliament is not a role I take for granted and I intend to keep working my tail off – as always – over the next term. I will continue working for you with the same integrity, effort and honour I’ve always brought to the job.
Thank you for the great honour of serving as your Liberal Member for Bass — in federal and state parliaments — for 18 years so far. We’ve achieved so much together, and I’m deeply grateful to have played a part in making Tasmania stronger. I hope to continue that work for you and your family with my deep experience and knowledge.
And thank you to my incredible family — especially Julie, our kids, and my parents — as well as our friends and volunteers. I simply couldn’t do any of this without you. Your support means the world to me, and I hope to make you all proud tonight.
